What Sizes Are the Storage Units?

Will Self Storage Southampton UK Provide a Lock and Key?
We have padlocks on site, but if you wish you can also purchase your own. Our padlocks and locking systems are extremely secure and tested to the highest standards but some customers do prefer to use their own for personal reasons – you will be the only person with the key if you use our provided padlocks.
Is There a Minimum Rental Period?
No. You can rent for as long or as little as you like. Our storage units for rent are available all year around for either one day, one weeks, months, or years. It’s entirely up to you how long you rent a storage container for. We will also offer preferential and reduced pricing on the storage costs if you choose a long-term rental.
Do You Have Trolleys at the Storage Warehousing Facility?
Yes we do. When you arrive and park up you can grab a large trolley and load your possessions onto it. The trolleys are sturdy and have been weight tested to cope with all scenarios and types of items you could ever wish to store on our site. The trolleys can be pushed straight to the Southampton storage units.
What Documents Do You Need From Me to Rent a Storage Unit?
We require that all customers, whether business or personal, come and rent a unit with a valid photo ID card. For example a driving license or passport. If you are looking for business storage in Southampton then we ask that you supply proof that you are a representative of the company – for example, a business card or headed paper.
Do I Need to Insure My Belongings Whilst in Storage?
All items that you store at our Southampton facilities are your responsibility to insure. We can recommend insurance companies for you use if you need one. Please note, you could already be insured with an existing policy you have so make sure to check.
How Safe and Secure Are the Self Storage Units?
Our site has CCTV and security cameras recording 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Access is via a front entrance where customers have to check in with our receptionist. We also have security guards on site and all entrances are locked securely.
